Just in case anyone wondered where I disappeared to. I have been put in a boot and not allowed to hike to heal tendinous in my Achilles tendon until April 9. Then the doctor will re-evaluate the condition.

Foothills Trail Overnite trip 1-11 and 1-12-19
With my job as pastor I usually only have Friday and Saturday to go on trips.
My hiking buddies Billy Abercrombie and Russell Weatherford and I decided to make a short trip on the Foothills Trail from Bad Creek Access out to the campsite near the Lower Whitewater Falls trail and have some quality fellowship around a campfire and go see the falls.
Weather was chilly in the lower 40s but was dry, it began to sleet on our way out on Saturday and was raining while we drove home.
Using my ULA OHM 2.0 on this trip it carries the winter weight better |

Croft Passage Re-do
Well a navigation error last week forced me to go back and pick up the Rocky Ridge section that we bypassed by going up Forester Mill Loop last week. So this is the loop I did so that I will have walked every step of the Palmetto Trail.
It was a beautiful day.
